AM387x ARM Cortex-A8 - Optimal combination of performance and integration for communications, networking, single-board computers and industrial automation. The TI AM387x ARM generation of products is a high-performance (up to 1GHz), extensively-integrated (GigE switch, PCIe, etc - see key device features below) Cortex-A8 based MPU targeted for industrial and communications & networking applications. AM387x enables customers to reduce BOM cost, reduce board area, enable high-end user interfaces, and utilize fan less/heat sink-less enclosures.
