Overview

Code Composer Studio (CCS) is extensible through a wide selection of third party plug-ins available. Plug-ins that supported the older versions of CCS (3.x and older) were written and validated specifically for CCS. But since the latest versions of CCS (v4 and greater) are based on Eclipse, it is possible to also leverage the thousands of standard third party Eclipse plug-ins in addition to plug-ins written specifically for CCS. There are some limitations with CCSv4 that will prevent some Eclipse plug-ins from working with CCSv4. These limitations are documented in the Extending CCS topic. Any Eclipse plug-in that has a page below has been validated to work with CCS.
