The HD Video Imaging Co-Processor (HDVICP, sometimes HD-VICP) is an accelerator unit with full HD capabilities found once on the DM365 SoC and twice on the DM6467 SoC. It is used for accelerating the encoding and decoding of HD resolution video data.

In spraau4 TI simply wrote: The DM36x HD-VICP is similar to the HD-VICP in the DM6467 SoC.
