Introduction

Linux PSP Functional Test Bench (LFTB) is an in house tool developed to validate the functionality of device drivers for various Linux support packages.

Where can I find updates the latest release of LFTB (Linux Functional Test Bench) ?

• The latest release of the LFTB can be found at :- https://www-a.ti.com/downloads/sds_support/targetcontent/psp/lftb/index.html.
• All the updates to the targetcontent can be found at :- https://www-a.ti.com/downloads/sds_support/targetcontent/index.html. Click on the PSP Section and it will lead you to the location for the PSP updates or alternatively
• All the updates to the PSP can be found at :- https://www-a.ti.com/downloads/sds_support/targetcontent/psp/index.html

Why not use open source tools?

• Methodologies used to validate the driver is unknown to the user
• Open source tools are not available for all the drivers.For example VLYNQ, Video.
• A set of open source tools needs to be used to cover various different drivers.

How do I use the tool?

Please refer chapter3 and chapter4 section in  the LFTB user guide for details.The documents will be found in LFTB/docs folder.

How can I add a new test case?

Please refer Appendix B section in user guide for details.The document will be found in LFTB/docs folder
