Running The Labs

In order to run the labs, you will need:

  • A Windows XP PC
  • Adobe Reader [1]
  • A MSP-FET430UIF emulation interface available for $99US [2]
  • A MSP430FG4618 Experimenter Board available for $99US [3]
  • Either IAR Kickstart [4] or Code Composer Studio 4.1
  • The lab files, to be installed in C:/MSP430ODW. Labs zip file

Instructor Materials version 3.2 January 2010

Instructors will need to have students install IAR or CCS before the class, or alternately provide the installation files on a flash drive or DVD. Lab files should be included as well.
