StarterWare Overview

StarterWare is a free software development package that provides no-OS platform support for ARM and DSP TI processors. StarterWare includes Device Abstraction Layer (DAL) libraries and example applications that demonstrate the capabilities of the peripherals on the TI processors.

NOTE
StarterWare is intended to support multiple processors of the TI SoC family, but support may be added in phases. The supported list of processors and the associated device abstraction layer of the peripherals as part of the library is mentioned in the release notes for every release.

This page captures and summarizes the documentation available for various StarterWare product releases.
