In addition, the following is the recommendation for the host hardware configuration to get optimum performance while running multi core platform simulators under Code Composer Studio.

- Even though multi-core chip simulators are not implemented as multi-threaded applications, better performance is observed on a dual core processor due to other user applications (Outlook, for example) and background processes getting scheduled on the second core. Increasing the number of cores beyond 2 does not show similar improvement in performance.
