Introduction

Here you will find the necessary information that needs to be on a MAVRK Wiki Page. Instructions and important links are linked on the page.

Page Outline

A MAVRK Wiki page should at least contain the following:

1. An Introduction, introducing the part with a description and an image of the board. See 'Conventions for Image Uploads.'

2. A list of the Features of the part.

3. A Description of all the inputs and outputs.

4. All the Functions on the board.

5. A table of the Pin Assignments. See 'Conventions for Image Uploads' for loading a table onto Wiki.

6. Special Requirements, if applicable.

Software Drivers

A link to the software repository and directions on how to use it should be listed. Please refer to MAVRK Software Installation Guide.

Gerber Request

A Gerber request is necessary for only TI generated products. For external, third parties, insert necessary information.

For a Gerber request, go to focus.ti.com/general/docs/gencontent.tsp. Read the terms and disclaimer. If agreed, hit "I Agree" where you will be sent to a form where you will be asked to fill out information including your Name, Company/University, E-mail, and Reason for Request. Once you have filled out this form, hit "Submit".

Conventions for Image Uploads

A physical picture of the board should be uploaded in the introduction. There should also be an image of the jumper layout and the configuration settings.

To upload an image:

1. Click on 'Upload File' in the Toolbox on the left side of the screen.

2. Choose the desired image formatted in one of the permitted file types by clicking 'Browse'.

3. Once the correct image is selected, type in the appropriate name in the 'Destination Filename' and click 'Upload'.

4. When the image has uploaded, go to the page where the image is to be placed.

5. In the rich editor, insert the image with the 'Insert/Edit Image' icon. Give it a name and specify alignment and type (thumbnails are recommended).

A table of the pinout designations should also be in the wiki page. To convert a .csv file to Wiki's editor, go to csv to wiki converter .

Adding Categories and Subcategories

In order for people to find the page in the MAVRK category, you must add the caterogy 'MAVRK' to the page. A subcategory should also be added to the page. Refer here for a list of MAVRK subcategories.

Support Contact Information

Support contact information needs to be added to the MAVRK Wiki Page. In addition to adding E2E to the contacts, please put necessary individual contact information.

Adding E2E to Wiki Page

Link Part Number to Datasheet

All TI components used need to be noted. These components also need to be linked to the datasheet from Texas Instrument's website. Use the same conventions used for adding the E2E website when adding the datasheet link.
